Dawn studied under the wonderful Europamoon for over 6 years. The mysticism and exotic nature of belly
dancing were the initial reasons to take it as a class for exercise but there is a lot more to the art.
The sisterhood she has found with the troupe and the expressive nature of the art has made learning the dance
far more exciting than originally anticipated. Dawn is looking forward to increasing her work with the fire hoop, poi,
contact fire, and sword.
Dawn has a B.S. degree from the University of North Carolina @ Chapel Hill in molecular biology and is
currently a computer programmer for a local company. Her other hobbies include
a 2nd degree black belt in Kempo Karate and riding her Harley-Davidson SuperGlide Sport.
